Currently rclone check supports matching two file trees by sizes and hashes.
This change adds support for SUM files produced by GNU utilities like sha1sum.
Fixes#1005
Note: checksum by default checks, hashsum by default prints sums.
New flag is named "--checkfile" but carries hash name.
Summary of introduced command forms:
```
rclone check sums.sha1 remote:path --checkfile sha1
rclone checksum sha1 sums.sha1 remote:path
rclone hashsum sha1 remote:path --checkfile sums.sha1
rclone sha1sum remote:path --checkfile sums.sha1
rclone md5sum remote:path --checkfile sums.md5
```
Users have noticed that backends created via the rc have been failing
to refresh their tokens with this error:
Token refresh failed try 1/5: context canceled
This is because the rc server cancels the context used to make the
backend when the request has finished. This same context is used to
refresh the token and the oauth library checks to see if the context
has been cancelled.
This patch creates a new context for the cached backends and copies
the global and filter config into the new context.

Rclone uses directory exclusions to cut down the listing it has to do,
so before this fix `--exclude dir/` would make sure nothing in `dir/`
was scanned, **except** if --fast-list was used, in which case only
the directory was excluded and everything within it was included.
This is rather unexpected, so this patch makes `--exclude dir/` be
equivalent to `--exclude dir/**`, meaning that excluding a directory
excludes it and its contents.
We can't do the same for --include without changing the semantics of
filtering slightly.
Fixes#3375
This is done by making fs.Config private and attaching it to the
context instead.
The Config should be obtained with fs.GetConfig and fs.AddConfig
should be used to get a new mutable config that can be changed.
--files-from parses input files by ignoring comments starting with # and ;
and stripping whitespace from start and end of strings.
The --files-from-raw flag was added that reads every line from the file ignoring
comment characters and not stripping whitespace while maintaining
backwards compatibility.
Fixes#3762
- Change rclone/fs interfaces to accept context.Context
- Update interface implementations to use context.Context
- Change top level usage to propagate context to lover level functions
Context propagation is needed for stopping transfers and passing other
request-scoped values.
Before this change rclone would read the list of files from the
files-from parameter and check they existed one at a time. This could
take a very long time for lots of files.
After this change, rclone will check up to --checkers in parallel.
Before this change using --files-from would scan all the directories
that the files could possibly be in causing rclone to do more work
that was necessary.
After this change, rclone constructs an in memory tree using the
--fast-list mechanism but from all of the files in the --files-from
list and without scanning any directories.
Any objects that are not found in the --files-from list are ignored
silently.
This mechanism is used for sync/copy/move (march) and all of the
listing commands ls/lsf/md5sum/etc (walk).
Somehow in the code reorganisation of
11da2a6c9b the check for --min-age and
--max-age got switched around. This commit fixes that and means you
can use --min-age and --max-age together.
The purpose of this is to make it easier to maintain and eventually to
allow the rclone backends to be re-used in other projects without
having to use the rclone configuration system.
The new code layout is documented in CONTRIBUTING.
